Email Marketing
Email marketing and lifecycle automation
The owned channel that still outperforms on ROI.
We build email as a growth engine — lifecycle automation, broadcasts, and outbound — owned audience you control, with the best ROI in marketing when done right.
Email remains the channel you own outright: no auction, no algorithm deciding who sees your message, and a direct line to people who asked to hear from you. Done well, it is one of the most profitable channels a business has. Done badly, it is a stream of discounts that trains customers to wait for the next sale, or a deliverability problem that sends everything to spam.
We build email programmes for D2C and B2B: lifecycle automation, campaigns, segmentation and the technical deliverability setup that keeps messages in the inbox. For B2B, that includes lead nurture connected to your CRM and lead scoring; for D2C, journeys tied to purchase behaviour and margin.
The problem
Email is treated as a newsletter afterthought: batch-and-blast, poor deliverability, no lifecycle automation. The highest-ROI owned channel is left underbuilt while paid budgets balloon.
What we do
- Build clean, deliverability-sound domain and email infrastructure
- Design automated lifecycle nurtures (welcome, win-back, abandoned cart)
- Deploy highly targeted, segmented broadcast campaigns
- Optimize subject lines, layouts, and send times to drive conversion
What you get
- A healthy, high-deliverability email domain setup
- A suite of fully automated, cohort-based lifecycle flows
- Pre-segmented campaign structures for recurring broadcasts
A compounding, owned channel with category-leading ROI that lowers dependency on paid ad networks.
Who this is for
- D2C brands relying on discount-heavy campaigns with flat repeat revenue
- B2B companies whose leads go cold between first contact and a sales conversation
- Senders whose open rates have fallen or who are landing in spam
- Teams migrating email platforms and wanting to rebuild properly
What's included
- Deliverability setup: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, sending domains and list hygiene
- Lifecycle flows matched to your funnel, with branching by behaviour
- Segmentation and personalisation rules from purchase or CRM data
- Campaign calendar and templates that do not rely on discounting
- B2B nurture tracks connected to lead scoring and sales handover
- Reporting on revenue or pipeline per subscriber and per flow
Deliverability comes first
No content strategy survives the spam folder. Since 2024, Google and Yahoo have required bulk senders to authenticate their domains with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, offer one-click unsubscribe, and keep reported spam rates low. Senders who did not adapt saw messages filtered or rejected. We check authentication, warm new sending domains gradually, remove unengaged and invalid addresses, and monitor reputation in Google Postmaster Tools and your platform.
List quality matters as much as setup. Bought lists, old imports and aggressive sending to people who never engage all damage reputation. A smaller, engaged list usually produces more revenue than a large, neglected one.
Lifecycle over broadcasts
Automated lifecycle emails — triggered by sign-up, browsing, purchase or inactivity — typically produce more revenue per send than broadcasts because they arrive when the recipient is most likely to act. We build those first, then plan campaigns around launches, education and genuinely useful content, using discounts deliberately rather than by default. For B2B, nurture sequences are built around the questions buyers ask at each stage, and they hand leads to sales when scoring says they are ready.
Measuring email properly
Open rates became unreliable after Apple Mail Privacy Protection began pre-loading images, so we judge email on clicks, conversions, revenue or pipeline per recipient and, for key flows, incremental lift against a holdout. That keeps the programme focused on outcomes rather than vanity metrics.
Frequently asked questions
Why are our emails going to spam?
Common causes are missing or misaligned SPF, DKIM or DMARC records, sending to unengaged or invalid addresses, sudden volume spikes and high complaint rates. A deliverability audit identifies which apply.
What are Google and Yahoo's bulk sender requirements?
Senders of large volumes must authenticate with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, support one-click unsubscribe, and keep spam complaint rates low. Messages that do not comply may be filtered or rejected.
Which email flows make the most money?
For e-commerce, usually abandoned cart, browse abandonment, welcome and post-purchase or replenishment flows. For B2B, nurture tracks tied to lead scoring and sales handover. The right order depends on your data.
Are open rates still useful?
Less than before, because Apple Mail Privacy Protection inflates them. We use clicks, conversions and revenue or pipeline per recipient instead.
Can email support B2B lead generation?
Yes. Nurture sequences connected to the CRM keep leads engaged until they are ready for sales, and engagement data feeds lead scoring.
